I Want to Help!

Your Club + Zambian Village

+

Our Rotary Club wants to be involved. What's next?

We want the process to be as simple as possible for you. We'd love to come speak to your Club and present the challenge that the village faces without clean water. We'll show how you can be the people that change the lives of everyone in the whole village.

We will assign a village to your club and provide GPS coordinates for the village, videos of life without clean water there, photos, and stories of village life. You'll get a page on our website: choosewater.org/YourClubName where everyone can view the videos and media from the village, as well as make donations right on the page.

From there your club can decide what the best way to fund the project might be. Maybe it's reaching out to your professional network. Maybe it's from everyone chipping in. Maybe it's from external fundraisers. It's up to you.

Choose Water is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, and donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law.

What’s Happening with Choose Water?

Pump Repair Program

We wrapped up a Well Repair Program in Eastern Province of Zambia that fixed broken wells in 15 villages, allowing safe, clean water to once again flow to more than 5000 people. These are wells that weren’t drilled by Choose Water, which usually means that nobody was taught how to take care of the well […]

Well Drilling

We are in the process of drilling a few new wells in Zambia in the next few weeks. These villages have already reached their Sanitation & Hygiene targets, contributed a nominal amount of money towards the well, and set up a water committee to manage the well when it comes. These are our requirements before […]

Rotary Barrels

Choose Water distributes Rotary Barrels to villages in Eastern Province. Barrels provided by Roll Out The Barrel Trust, a UK based charity, were given to 50 families across Eastern Province. Each barrel was given to an elderly or disabled lady who without the barrel is unable to collect enough water for the daily requirements of […]
